Patients also enjoy easy access to board certified physicians and nurse practitioners who offer primary care in internal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, general surgery and family practice through the hospital’s Trinity Medical Group. Many of the physician’s offices are conveniently located within the hospital to enable patients to see their physicians and get any related medical testing done in one visit.
Twin City Hospital (now Trinity Hospital Twin City) was founded in 1912 by a group of philanthropic women who lived in the Twin City area of Dennison and Uhrichsville. The hospital is a 25-bed, Catholic, not-for-profit critical access hospital that is governed by a Board of Trustees. With more than 210 employees, ten physicians and two certified nurse practitioners, Trinity Hospital Twin City is one of the largest employers in southern Tuscarawas County.
